It looks like Adobe has released an iPhone application for Adobe connect. As I read through the article, I just thought about how great it would be if we could provide our learners with this type of access via mobile phones, especially as we expand our support services and see and increased usage of Adobe Connect with our CEI programs. I'm sure it'll be rocky in the beginning with the normal bugs for new applications, but definitely worth testing out to see.

Great post! Have you considered Blackboard Mobile or Hot Lava? They look like they can produce content for multiple devices not just iPhones. The challenge is that there many mobile devices on the market and given the time it takes to develop content you might as well develop content that works on Blackberries, and iPhones.
ReplyDeleteAlso it has been my experience that Adobe Flash does not seem to have proliferated the mobile device market as it has the PC market. Adobe has not made strides in the mobile area, in addition I have read commentary suggesting that Flash in general is not well suited to run on mobile platforms.
